This branch of Starbucks is situated towards the back of London Victoria Station, close to Platforms 15 to 19, which are mainly used for Southern services heading on to the likes of Brighton, where I was travelling to, which was the purpose of me visiting this specific store, compared to the one which appeared to look larger and much nicer at the front of the station.

Unlike the other store in the station, this is a franchise store and does not support mobile order and pay, in-fact it gets worse, although you can use Starbucks cards the drinks are heavily overpriced, and on average cost me nearly a THIRD more than usual, my usual beverage which costs £3.10 ended up costing just over £8 for two drinks of the same value. (Iced Vanilla Latte with Cream for me, Regular large latte for my friend - both of which are usually priced the same due to my Gold Level Starbucks reward membership). - This even included the 25p reusable cup discount on one of the beverages which the staff member refused at first to put through, arguing with me on whether I could use it or not before the server gave in and acted like he was doing something nice as a gesture of good feeling. - Really bad and unprofessional service!

I felt like saying "Mate, giving me a discount every other store doesn't have a problem with isn't a goodwill gesture, especially when you're literally taking the piss with pricing, charging a third more, and being probably the UK's most expensive Starbucks." as I was so angered at the time.

My beverage also wasn't filled to the top and again the staff had a problem in giving me a standard dome lid (my cup comes with a flat lid which would squash the cream), I did eventually get one as the staff member looked at me in disgust, kind of like she was horrified I'd make such request, which again no other Starbucks store I've visited in the past has ever had a problem with.

The quality was poor, it was far too sweet especially compared to normal, it tasted like a sickly, processed mess which was another way this place struggled to meet regular Starbucks standards.

This is mainly a travel store, but the decor is okay as a result of this, and there is some limited seating, although they were close together. There was an issue with unattended baggage while I was there, luckily it turned out to be safe but the store again seemed disinterested as a fellow customer approached everyone to find out who owned the bag, originally struggling to find the owner, he had to find station security with the staff refusing to help again.

During my May 2019 trip to Brighton via London, I had so many of these incidents where I had to think "Hold on is this really a branch of xxx" because locations are so bad, they fail to meet standards set by other branches in any regards, and this is another example of that, and I hate to say it even though regular readers of my reviews know I love Starbucks, but this could be one of the worst stores yet.

If you have more time, try visiting the store at the front of the station, I wish I had!
